Why not let the Satori experience begin at the airport using our very own pick-up service? Our English-speaking driver will meet you (he will be holding a name board) and whisk you smoothly down to the villa in an air-conditioned car or minibus transporting up to six guests plus luggage. Prices vary depending on the type of vehicle required.
Satori will take care of all your sheets and towels. If you have any further laundry needs our team will take your items into town and return them fresh and pressed. This is charged per item and taken from your kitty, if required.
We have a number of reliable English-speaking Tuk Tuk drivers who will give our guests excellent rates. Tuk Tuks take between 2-3 people at a time – for larger groups our team can organise multiple Tuk Tuks or an air-conditioned van for up to 10 guests.
One of the great experiences in Sri Lanka is having clothing tailored for you at a fraction of western prices. Local markets offer quality fabrics that can be turned into stylish garments within days. We recommend packing favourite items of clothing to be copied. Ask our team for further details.
Buying a Sri Lankan SIM card at the airport on arrival will cut your phone bill significantly. Cards cost US$6 and you can usually drop them into any phone ready for use. Calls from a Sri Lankan mobile to anywhere in the world will then cost around US$0.40USD. We have a steady 4G Internet connection at the villa. To get online ask our team to set you up.
Satori is completely secure for both guests and their belongings. There is always somebody at the property during the day and we have a security guard on the gate at night. The villa also has a safe for your valuables.
